2019 Annual Meeting – Your Proxy Needed
ENSURE THAT THE ANNUAL MEMBERS MEETING CAN TAKE PLACE!
The Annual meeting is the main meeting of the year when members typically elect a board, hear committee reports and discuss items of common interest. A quorum is a certain percentage or number of homeowners who must be present for the meeting to take place.
Ibis Cove requires a quorum of 30% in order to hold the Election and Annual Meeting; therefore your attendance in person or by Proxy is CRUCIAL. Definition of Proxy “authority or power to act for another” In other words you give a fellow homeowner permission to be there in your place and count as present at the meeting.
A minimum of 122 people are needed to meet the 30% quorum, so please be sure to return your Proxy to the office before March 28, 2019. The form is available at the Clubhouse.
